2 HCPSS Math Educators Named Outstanding Teachers Of The Year
Two HCPSS math educators at the MS and HS levels have been named Outstanding Teachers of the Year by the MCTS.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Hammond Middle School mathematics teacher and mathematics instruction team leader Jennifer Smallenbroek and Mt. Hebron High School mathematics teacher Matthew Cox have been selected as the Outstanding Middle and High School Mathematics Teachers of the Year, respectively, by the Maryland Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
“Congratulations to both Mrs. Smallenbroek and Mr. Cox for their exceptional dedication to access, equity, and student empowerment through exemplary mathematics teaching and learning for all students,” said Jon Wray, HCPSS’ Coordinator of Secondary Mathematics.
