Yes, I am the current State's Attorney for Howard County and I am running for re-election.

Why are you seeking this office?

I am a career prosecutor who is committed to ensuring that Howard County is a safe place for every person, and that those who interact with our justice system are treated fairly.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am unopposed.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Continue to engage with the community we serve, work on expanding some of the programs we have launched such as the L.E.A.D ( Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion) Program and advocate in Annapolis for laws that promote public safety.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

2016 Named Prosecutor of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic Region. 2018 - Recipient of Criminal Justice Reform Award by the Maryland Emerging Leaders PAC. 2021- Elected President of the Maryland State's Attorneys' Association.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Listen carefully, and understanding that power comes from asking questions rather than making statements.

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Howard County in this position as State's Attorney. I look forward to earning their vote and playing an active role in the administration of justice in our community.
