39 Cars Remain Unclaimed From Ellicott City Flood: Police
Police have asked those whose vehicles were towed from the Ellicott City flood to pick them up this weekend.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD -- Police have asked people whose cars were towed from the flood in Ellicott City to come pick them up. Since Sunday's weather event, authorities said 198 vehicles were towed from the Main Street area.
There were still 39 vehicles that had not been claimed as of Friday evening, according to Howard County police.
Owners have all been contacted, authorities said, and they received information for picking up their vehicles.

Pickup is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.
Initially after the flood, people who left their vehicles around Main Street on Sunday were asked to send an email with the following information to HCPDCarRecovery@howardcountymd.gov:

- Cell phone
- Other contact information
- Car make, model and color
- Vehicle license plate number
Police said those who sent their information were provided with instructions for retrieving their cars, trucks or SUVs.
