4 Howard Co. Students Awarded 3rd Round Of National Merit Scholarships

Four Howard County high school seniors have been awarded scholarships in the third round of the National Merit Scholarship program.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Another round of National Merit Scholarship program awards have been allotted to area students.

The third release of National Merit scholarships in the 2026 competition features the college-sponsored merit scholarship winners. More than 2,500 finalists were awarded scholarships financed by 138 U.S. colleges and universities.

Another round of scholarships will be announced in July.
