$59.3M Paid For Two Commercial Properties In Ellicott City

Two buyers recently forked over a combined $59.3 million for two multi-use/commercial properties that were for sale in Ellicott City.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Two properties in Ellicott City recently sold for a combined total of $59.3 million.

The 1.3-acre property at 13554 Triadelphia Road recently sold for $1.8 million to a private party. The land, which last sold more than 30 years ago, features a realtor's office, plant nursery and antiques shop, among a variety of other businesses. Plans for the multi-use property's future were not released, according to CityBiz.

Normandy National Pike, LLC bought the Normandy Shopping Center, a five-building asset consisting of 185,000 square feet of commercial office and retail space for $57.5 million. According to Connect CRE, the property includes three separate parcels on a nearly 25-acre site at 8450 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City.

Normandy Shopping Center is anchored by Planet Fitness, Triveni Supermarket, Pinebrook Montessori Childcare, Bank of America, High’s Dairy Store and Kelsey’s Restaurant. There are more than 45 tenants, including 10 different American and international cuisine restaurants, plus a variety of retail and professional services. A nearly six-acre undeveloped lot is part of the package, but no plans were unveiled for its future use.
