Six suspects, including a teen, have been arrested in connection to dozens of commercial burglaries committed across the region, police say.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Six suspects linked to dozens of commercial burglaries across the region, including three in Ellicott City and a fourth in Columbia, have been arrested.
The suspects were on a months-long burglary spree but were stopped in the act Tuesday. A joint effort between the Howard County Police Department and a regional task force found the suspects in Howard County early Tuesday morning after they carried out three commercial burglaries in Ellicott City and were in the midst of committing a fourth burglary in Columbia, officers were able to apprehend all six suspects.
"This ended a string of potentially dozens of commercial burglaries in the last three months believed to be connected to this group. These suspects mostly targeted the businesses for cash," the police department stated.
