7-Eleven Held Up On Route 40; Three Teens Charged: Police
A brief pursuit led to the arrest of Ellicott City holdup suspects, Howard County police said.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Three teens were charged in connection with an early morning armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on US 40 in Ellicott City, police said.
The holdup happened at the convenience store in the 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike at 2:03 a.m. on Wednesday, according to police.
Three men with their faces partly covered walked in, one of them showing a gun and demanding cash, police reported. After the clerk complied, the suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Responding officers pursued the suspect vehicle briefly and arrested three teens, according to police, who reported that a fourth suspect took off.
Police said the following were charged with armed robbery, assault, theft and the use of a firearm in a felony: an 18-year-old from London Derry Court in Laurel; 18-year-old from Duchess Court in Upper Marlboro; and a 17-year-old from Haines Court in Laurel. All were charged as adults.
