ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Old Ellicott City will be shuttering at the end of August. It will be replaced by The Corner, a community-oriented music and arts venue.

The milkshake bar opened in May 2022 by co-owners Robert and Erin Studer. Don Reuwer co-owns the building Crazy Mason leases and confirmed to the Baltimore Fishbowl that the Crazy Mason's last day of business will be Aug. 30.

Its replacement will be a nonprofit operated by Jeni Porter, who currently owns Little Market Cafe.

"Long story short, we've leased it to a nonprofit that's going to be operating a venue all for the arts," Reuwer told the Baltimore Fishbowl. "So, they're going to be having music and plays and comedy."
