ELLICOTT CITY, MD — One of the biggest celebrations of the year in Old Ellicott City will kick off soon with live music, vendors, food and fun.
Main Street Music Fest 2026 will run from noon to 8 p.m. in Old Ellicott City on Sept. 19.
There will be live music on multiple stages set up all across Old Ellicott City, plus artisan vendors, food vendors and food trucks on hand. There will be a kids craft corner with music-inspired activities and two raffles.
Artisan vendors include Ivy's Jewelry Box, Outta Our Minds Puppets, Knittinghens, Serenity Scents by Catherine and Ariel Brown Art. Retail and specialty vendors include City Rat Records, Earth Tribe Shop, Vivid Colors Face Painting and The Columbia Orchestra. Food vendors and trucks on hand are Cocomelt, Tasty Empanadas, Asian Taste and Beye Beignets.
Organizers also are looking for volunteers to help with the festival, from setting up, selling tickets, kids crafts and tearing down. Whether it's a few hours or the whole day, people are encouraged to sign up if they can help.
