• Local Event: 2026 Community Fall Festival (patch.com) — Ellicott City families can look forward to the Community Fall Festival on October 3, 2026, at Church of the Resurrection on Paulskirk Drive, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expect food, craft vendors, raffles, kids' activities, live entertainment, and a beer and wine garden, all happening rain or shine just minutes from home.
   

• 25 years after 9/11: Remembrance events planned across Maryland (wmar2news.com) — Ellicott City residents are invited to a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the Garden of Hope in Centennial Park South on September 11 at 8:46 a.m., featuring a wreath-laying to honor victims, including four Howard County residents. The roundup also highlights additional memorial events across Maryland for those who wish to participate beyond town limits.
