ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Drivers will need to navigate around a bridge closure that starts this week and runs through mid-November.
Crews will be performing preventative maintenance and improvements to the bridge that spans over Cat Rock Run, a tributary to the Tiber Hudson branch, between 8392 and 8407 Merryman Street.
The project includes the installation of a new bridge deck and repairing the stone support walls.
Weather permitting, the project should wrap up by mid-November 2026.
Signs will be posted to alert residents and drivers of the construction work, which will be done weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents who live southwest of 8392 Merryman Street will need to use Hill Street to access Main Street, the county advised.
