Bakery To Expand Outside HoCo With 2 New Locations In 2023

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Howard County bakery chain will be opening two locations in the greater Baltimore area in 2023.

Roggenart European Bakery, Bistro & Cafe, which is best known for its homemade croissants and pastries, will open its largest cafe to date in Towson in mid-January the second location in Baltimore's Mount Vernon area in the spring.

Owned by Nem Popov and Brody Tennant, the Towson store will be located at 28 Alleghany Avenue and occupy 3,800 square feet. The Mount Vernon location will be at 1001 N. Charles St. in the City House Charles project.
