Boy Injured When Teens Assault, Rob Him Of Phone And Shoes: Police

A teen boy was injured when a group of other teen boys assaulted him and stole his phone and shoes, according to Howard County Police.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two robberies were reported in a two-day period in Howard County, including one that injured a teenage boy.

On Feb. 27, a teenage boy told Howard County Police that he was approached by acquaintances and other teenage boys who assaulted him, then stole his phone and shoes before running away. The teenage victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The incident happened around 2:50 p.m. in the 4900 block of Walking Stick Road in Ellicott City.

The second robbery happened at the Target located in the 6100 block of Dobbin Road in Columbia on Feb. 28 around 4:30 p.m. A store employee told police that when he confronted a woman suspected of stealing merchandise, the suspect assaulted him and took off. No one was injured, according to police.
