Bright Passage Pedestrian Bridge To Be Replaced With New Pathway
A meeting Nov. 30 will discuss plans to replace the Bright Passage pedestrian bridge with a new culvert and pathway over the culvert.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A public meeting will be held Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the removal of the pedestrian bridge behind 11856 Bright Passage. The bridge will be replaced with a new culvert and new pathway over the culvert. The project also will stabilize the heavily eroded storm drain channel in the area.
The informal meeting, which will be held in the Hawthorn Center at 6175 Sunny Spring in Columbia, will include an overview of the design followed by an open discussion. county staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
The project is funded through the county’s Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund.
