Brush Fire Breaks Out On Old Montgomery Road: Officials

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A brush fire was reported in Ellicott City Sunday afternoon, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Shortly after 4 p.m., fire officials said that the blaze in the 8000 block of Old Montgomery Road was under control.

However, authorities reported that crews would remain at the scene to make sure the flames had not spread and lingered in any hot spots.
