Centennial Can't Overcome Forfeits

Centennial won the battle of matches actually wrestled against visiting Marriotts Ridge on Thursday night, but couldn’t overcome forfeiting five bouts and lost, 51-23.
The Eagles finished the dual-meet season at 8-14, losing their last six matches while struggling to fill their lineup.
Centennial spotted the Mustangs 30 points and out-wrestled them on the mat, 23-21, getting three pins and a technical fall. Macon Stanley (135 pounds), Zach Portnoff (160) and Phil Ricks (285) registered falls, and Nathan Kraisser earned a 16-1 technical fall.

Kraisser, a junior seeking his third state title, improved to 30-0 for the season and 105-3 for his career with his victory.
