Christmas in the Park to Dazzle HoCo
Santa, carols and a tree lighting are in store Thursday at Centennial Park.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Christmas is coming early in Howard County, and it's right on time, as there's a chance of flurries in the forecast.
The Howard County Christmas in the Park celebration, rained out earlier in the week, is set to wow onlookers at Centennial Park Thursday evening.
Be sure to bundle up if you go — temperatures may feel like 30 degrees at 6 p.m. when the event starts and in the high 20s when it ends at 7:30 p.m.

The tree lighting and surrounding activities should provide some warmth on the wintry night. The Howard High School chamber will sing at the event, where Santa is also making an appearance.
Attendees are advised to use the entrance for Centennial Park South at 10000 Clarksville Pike.
