Confirmed Coronavirus Case Total In Howard County Reaches 15,838

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Howard County has a total of 15,838 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 223 deaths. The state has 382,702 confirmed cases and 7,697 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 35,069 people have been hospitalized to date.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Howard County as of March 1:

• 21043 - 2,144 confirmed cases
• 21045 - 2,058 confirmed cases
• 21044 - 2,053 confirmed cases
• 20723 - 2,021 confirmed cases
• 21075 - 1,976 confirmed cases

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:
