Confirmed Coronavirus Case Total In Howard County Reaches 20,827

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Howard County has a total of 20,827 positive new coronavirus cases and 259 deaths, according to the Howard County Health Department. The state has 495,924 confirmed cases and 9,781 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Howard County as of Aug. 30:

• 21043 - 2,869confirmed cases
• 21044 - 2,778 confirmed cases
• 21045 - 2,700 confirmed cases
• 21075 - 2,592 confirmed cases
• 20723 - 2,571 confirmed cases

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:

• Stay home when you are sick.
