Crews From 4 Counties Fight Mount Airy Barn Fire
Fire crews from Howard County and three other counties battled a barn fire in Mount Airy.

MOUNT AIRY, MD — Fire departments from four counties were called to put out a barn fire about 1:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the Mount Airy area, officials said. Crews from fire departments in Howard, Carroll, Montgomery and Frederick counties responded to the fire in the 600 block of West Watersville Road.
No injuries were reported, Howard County Fire and EMS said on Twitter. No livestock fatalities were reported.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by 5 a.m. No damage estimate or possible cause of the fire has been released.
