Deadly Centennial Lane Crash Under Investigation
Centennial Lane was closed for investigation into the fatal crash Sunday morning, police said.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A Columbia man died Sunday morning after his car hit a tree on Centennial Lane, according to police. The road was closed in the area of Burnside Drive for the investigation, officials reported.
According to authorities, a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix was headed north on Centennial Lane at 3:24 a.m. when for an unknown reason, the car left the road approaching Burnside Drive, hit a tree and then caught fire.
Saif Bryant, 21, of Columbia, was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
