Do You "Fit" Safely Behind the Wheel?

Neighbor Ride, in partnership with the Howard County Police Department, invites you to participate in CarFit, an educational program for adult drivers to “fit” safely behind the wheel. The event will be held in the parking lot of the Neighbor Ride office (5570 Sterrett Place - Columbia 21044) on Tuesday, September 30, from 10:30am-2:30pm. Twenty spaces are available on the half hour. Call or email volunteer@neighborride.org to reserve you time and invite your friends.

Developed by the American Society on Aging in collaboration with AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association this 25 minute evaluation is conducted by trained technicians. Past participants evaluated the program as highly beneficial to safe driving practice. This is not a program to evaluate a driver’s skills, but, rather, evaluates the fit of the car for the driver.
