Drop-In Portrait Sessions Available at Howard County Center for the Arts

The Howard County Arts Council continues its ongoing drop-in portrait sessions at The Howard County Center for the Arts. The sessions consist of a single pose with the same model over multiple weeks for detailed figure-study work.  A monitor coordinates all sessions, however, instruction is not provided.

Portrait Model Sessions have a live, clothed/costumed model and meet on Tuesdays 11am-2pm. The cost per session is $10 or $42 for six sessions (paid at first session). Figure Model Sessions have a live, nude model and meet on Tuesdays 7:30pm-10pm. These sessions feature occasional single-day, multiple-pose sessions to break up the multi-week, single-pose sessions. The cost per session is $12 or $60 for six sessions (paid at first session). Participants must bring their own art materials. A limited number of easels are available on a first-come basis. Sessions purchased in advance are good for one year from time of purchase.
