Early Morning Fire Consumes Ellicott City Home: Officials

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Howard County firefighters responded to an early morning house fire in the 3000 block of Bethany Lane that broke out at approximately 4 a.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the entire home was engulfed in flames.

The fire department tweeted that the fire was extinguished within the hour. No injuries were reported. Firefighters remained on the scene to monitor the situation and look for hotspots. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
