Ellicott City Students Win $2,500 National Merit Scholarships For 2024
Several students from Ellicott City and across Howard County have won $2,500 National Merit Scholarships for 2024.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Another round of 2024 National Merit Scholars have been announced, including 12 students from Howard County.
On April 24, around 770 recipients of corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards were named, then on June 5 and July 15, another 3,600 college-sponsored Merit Scholarship winners will be announced. By the end of this year’s competition, more than 6,870 students will have won National Merit Scholarships worth approximately $26 million.
The May 8 announcement recognizes National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winners. Those from Howard County are:
