$100K Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At Ellicott City Business
The 53-year-old construction worker had popped into the Dash In on Baltimore National Pike and bought a Gold Rush X50 ticket worth $100K.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A convenience store in Ellicott City held a lucky lottery ticket for a Nottingham resident. The 53-year-old construction worker had popped into the Dash In on Baltimore National Pike and bought a Gold Rush X50 ticket. He scratched away and revealed a symbol showing a stack of cash.
The man was stunned when the prize shown below the symbol was the $100,000 prize. Being the type of person he is, the man hid the ticket and went back to work. This isn't the first time this lucky person has won with a Maryland Lottery game. A decade ago he netted a pair of top prize wins.
“I just tell them it’s dumb luck, really. I also tell them not to play with money you can’t afford to lose," he told the Maryland Lottery.
