Ellicott City Eatery Modifies Menu For Diners With Dietary Needs
UNO Pizzeria & Grill in Ellicott City has added dozens of new dishes and options to accommodate those with special dietary requirements.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A pizzeria in Ellicott City has modified its menu to help accommodate the multiple dietary requirements or preferences of local residents who love pizza. There now will be gluten-sensitive, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian options, along with calorie- and carb-friendly items on the menu at UNO Pizzeria & Grill.
There will be more than 15 gluten-sensitive dishes added to the menu, more than 15 vegetarian items and five vegan items. Carb-conscious and calorie-aware items will be in abundance on the menu, too.
“This is a drastic modernization and expansion of our menu and its first major overhaul in decades,” said Jim Ilaria, chief executive officer of UNO Pizzeria & Grill, in a statement. “While we are famous for inventing the deep dish pizza – and have served it to generations of fans since 1943 – we are thrilled to now offer a wider variety of options so everyone can walk through our doors confident they will enjoy a tasty meal regardless of their dietary interests.”
