Columbia Builders is hosting a Wines & Steins fundraiser for The Arc of Howard County on Friday Nov. 12, 6-8 p.m., at its model home in Hollifield Hills, 2836 Millers Way Dr, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
Selected wines from Decanter Fine Wines and The Wine Seller and a variety of ales and lagers provided by Baltimore's Heavy Seas will be served with other refreshments.
The event will honor The Arc's 50th Anniversary sponsors, who have made contributions and pledges in honor of the local organization's birthday. The Arc was started by a group of parent volunteers in 1961, and has grown to be one of Howard County's major employers.

The Arc of Howard County helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve full community life, including independent living and employment.
