Toll Brothers is hosting a final celebration of The Arc of Howard County’s 50th Anniversary. Wines & Steins, featuring wines and beers selected by Decanter Fine Wines, is set for Friday November 18, 6-9 p.m., at a model home in Patuxent Chase at 11502 Fox River Dr, Ellicott City, MD 21042. In addition to the wines and beers for tasting, there will be hors d’oeuvres and small desserts.
The event will conclude The Arc’s 50th Anniversary year. Golden Anniversary sponsors include Columbia Builders, The Columbia Triathlon Association, Inc., Lisa Higgins-Hussman Foundation. Douglas and Therese Erdman, Ascend One Corp., Annette Hinkle, Richard and Carol Dean, Phillip and Kathleen Swanson, Howard County General Hospital, Dart Group, Ray Zukowski Family Foundation, Edward Arthur Jewelers, Inc ., Vidia and Donald Dhanraj, Cole and Joan Schnorf, and Matthew K. Swanson.
The Arc was started by a group of parent volunteers in 1961. It helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve full community life, including independent living and employment.
