SAVAGE, MD — A new fabric exhibit curated by Leona's Sewing Studio can be seen at Savage Mill through April 3.

Threads of Heritage: African Print Fabrics & The Stories They Carry has a goal is to inspire visitors to "consider how heritage and creativity are carried forward."

The exhibit can be seen at New Weave Commons in Savage Mill from 6 to 8 p.m.

Savage Mill used to be a cotton mill that has been restored into a shopping, activity and dining destination with more than 70 businesses and dining establishments.
