Fire Breaks Out At Paper Shredding Facility In Howard County

A fire broke out Thursday at a paper shredding facility in the 6700 block of Oak Hall Lane in Columbia.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A fire broke out at a paper shredding facility in Columbia Thursday. A shredder was involved in the fire, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Firefighters battled the flames at the building located in the 6700 block of Oak Hall Lane and broke out around 8:40 p.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
