Food, Cash, Golf Cart Stolen In Separate Howard Co. Thefts

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Sweet treats and cash were stolen from the Meadows Original Frozen Custard in Columbia, police report, while a golf cart was swiped from an apartment complex.

The sweet treat theft incident happened sometime between July 26-29 at the dessert shop, which is located in the 6400 block of Freetown Road. According to Howard County Police, a suspect or suspects gained access to the business through what have been an unlocked window before stealing cash and food.

In the overnight hours July 28-29, Howard County Police reported someone stole a golf cart from the maintenance shop of Foxborough Estates, which is located in the 8500 block of Foxborough Drive in Savage.
