Foose To Get More Than $1M Payout For Leaving HCPSS: Report

The day after Renee Foose stepped down as Howard County Public School System's superintendent, details come out regarding severance.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — For leaving her contract early, former Superintendent Renee Foose will reportedly receive more than $1 million in severance from the Howard County Public School System.

Foose and the school board announced Tuesday that she would be retiring.

According to the Baltimore Sun, she will receive $1,650,000 in severance and wellness benefits.
