Glen Mar Early Learning Center To Assist With Virtual Learning
Licensed teachers will assist students with technology and schoolwork in Glen Mar Early Learning Center's virtual learning classroom.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Glen Mar Early Learning Center, a preschool located at Glen Mar Church in Ellicott City, has rolled out a full-time, in-person program for kindergarten through fourth-grade students participating in virtual learning through their elementary schools. Registration is open now and the center will offer the program starting Jan. 4.
“As parents struggle to work from home while at the same time helping their children with virtual learning, we want to help relieve families and provide a place for elementary school-age children to come, receive support and learn,” said Shelby Flinchum, director of Glen Mar Early Learning Center. “We’re here to help families during a challenging time.”
Licensed teachers will assist students with technology and schoolwork in Glen Mar Early Learning Center’s virtual learning classroom. Students will also participate in additional activities, including games, arts and crafts and outdoor play, during their free time at the center.
Glen Mar Early Learning Center follows protocols to ensure student and staff safety during the coronavirus pandemic. For more about the virtual learning program, visit GlenMarELC.org or call 410-461-2859.
