Goodbye Original Souls

After five years, Original Souls on Main St. has closed its doors. 

The the gift shop was closed for six weeks . It reopened in April of 2011.

"Our purpose was to open a store with a different approach.  Original Souls is a socially responsible store, and we support local and emerging artists," co-owner Sheila Morrison said at the time.

But as of Feb. 28, the store has been closed. 

"Our vision was to create a different paradigm for doing business while also giving back to our community. We are grateful to have succeeded in this endeavor and now have decided it is time to follow other opportunities," according to a statement on the store's website.
