Harry Potter Fans Rejoice! 4th Annual Wizarding Weekend Coming To Ellicott City

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The 4th Annual Wizarding Weekend will unfold in Old Ellicott City Oct. 1-2. There will be a scavenger hunt, costume contest, live music, magical treats and Harry Potter-inspired mischief all across town.

The scavenger hunt will start in the Wizard World corner of parking Lot D. Pick up a scavenger form there and visit participating locations throughout Old Ellicott city, answer a Harry Potter trivia question or locate an enchanted item, then return the form to Lot D. The grand prize winner will receive a basket full of Harry Potter and OEC treasures.

Register at the Wizard & Witch tent in Lot D for the costume contest. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday at the Little Market Cafe stage in Lot D to the top three contestants.

Tiber Alley will transform into Diagon Alley where you can discover and purchase your favorite potion.

On Saturday, enjoy a special outdoor movie showing of Harry Potter & the Chamber Secrets in the Wine Bin parking lot starting at 7 p.m.
