HCPSS Makes Weather Decision For Tuesday, Jan. 15
BREAKING: Schools will be on a modified schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 15, in Howard County.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Howard County will open two hours late on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Officials made the announcement Monday afternoon and said they would re-evaluate the situation on Tuesday morning.
Morning and half-day sessions of pre-K and RECC will be canceled on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Morning child care programs, sponsored by the Columbia Association and the Department of Recreation & Parks in Howard County public schools, will be delayed two hours.

Central offices will be open.
All Howard County public schools were closed on Monday, Jan. 14, following more than a foot of snow. Columbia experienced some of the highest snowfall totals in the state, based on preliminary data.
