HCPSS Orchestra With Take The Stage With Award-Winning Time For Three In Special Concert

The Emmy Award-winning string trio Time for Three will perform with HCPSS's high school gifted and talented orchestra in a special concert.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County Public School System's high school gifted and talented orchestra will perform with Emmy Award-winning string trio Time for Three at a concert May 15. The groups each will play separately and together. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.

The high school gifted and talented orchestra is comprised of students from HCPSS’ 12 high schools, selected via a rigorous audition process. As one of Maryland’s premier youth orchestras, the HSGTO Orchestra has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Chicago’s The Midwest Clinic, and Baltimore’s Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

Time for Three, featuring Charles Yang (violin), Nick Kendall (violin), and Ranaan Meyer (double bass), is known for its unique blend of eras, styles, and traditions of Western music. This event is presented in partnership with the Columbia Festival of the Arts and the Downtown Columbia Arts and Culture Commission.
