HCPSS Ranks High Among America’s 2021 Best Employers By Forbes

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Public School System has been named among America’s best employers by Forbes magazine. HCPSS ranked seventh in Maryland and first among educational institutions in the state. HCPSS also was ranked the highest among the six school systems recognized by Forbes magazine.

To determine the rankings, market research firm Statista surveyed 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. The respondents were asked to rate their employers on such factors as safety of work environment, compensation, opportunities for advancement and openness to telecommuting. Respondents were also asked how likely they would be to recommend their employers to others. The full rankings are available online.
