Helicopter To Fly Over Ellicott City To Survey Flood: Officials

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A helicopter will be landing in Long Gate near Meadowbrook Park, Howard County government officials say. It will land Monday afternoon before flying over Main Street in Ellicott City.

Officials announced before 5 p.m. that the helicopter would be landing in the Long Gate area. At that time, a news helicopter was also flying around Main Street as well.

Howard County government officials said that the Howard County Police Department helicopter would be flying over Main Street in Ellicott City as part of the flood recovery effort.
