Henryton Road Bridge Replacement Meeting Planned For Sept. 28 In Howard County

A Sept. 28 meeting has been set to discuss the proposed project to replace the Henryton Road bridge.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County Department of Public Works Transportation and Special Projects Division will hold a public meeting Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria at the Marriotts Ridge High School, 12100 Woodford Drive in Marriottsville, to present plans for a bridge replacement.

The proposed project consists of constructing a new single-span prestressed concrete beam bridge on Henryton Road over the tributary to Patapsco River. The existing bridge will be removed, the traffic barrier replaced and the roadway approaches improved.

The informal meeting will include a brief overview of the project with design plans on display. County staff and a representative from Wallace, Montgomery & Associates, the projects design consultant, will also be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
