HoCo Executive Says Kamenetz Was 'Dedicated Public Servant'
He "worked tirelessly to make Baltimore County a better place," HoCo Executive Allan Kittleman said on the death of Kevin Kamenentz.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — After the death of the Baltimore County executive early Thursday morning, those around the state, including in Howard County, have been expressing their condolences. Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman was among them.
"This morning we are all stunned and shocked by the news of the sudden passing of Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz," said Kittleman in a statement. "Kevin was a hard-working, dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly to make Baltimore County a better place."
The Baltimore County executive, a Democrat, had been in that position since 2010 and was running for the Democratic nomination for governor. He died early Thursday morning at the age of 60.

“We may have come from different counties and different political parties, but he always promoted the strengths of our entire region," said Kittleman, a Republican who said he served with Kamenetz on the Executive Board of the Maryland Association of Counties.
“Please keep his wife, Jill, their two sons, and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time," Kittleman said.
