Festive Holiday Train Garden Returns To Howard County For 23rd Year
The 23rd annual holiday train garden can be viewed in the windows of numerous Old Ellicott City shops this year.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The 23rd annual holiday train garden will once again appear in the windows of Old Ellicott City shops this year. It can be seen through Jan. 1. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the popular holiday attraction has been divided among stores along Main Street to help spread out people.
The Howard County Fire & Rescue Train Garden Crew started working in mid-October to create new and beautiful holiday displays and identify businesses willing to help.
“They were very excited to participate,” Dave Balthis, a retired fire chief and longtime model train engineer, elf and spokesperson, said.
