Frederick Road Fire Drew Crews From 2 Counties: Fire Officials
A house fire broke out Thursday night on Frederick Road in Oella.

OELLA, MD — A house fire closed a section of Frederick Road Thursday night in Oella, according to authorities. There were heavy fire conditions at a residence when crews arrived.
The Arbutus Volunteer Fire Company reported it was dispatched to the 100 block of Frederick Road in Oella, where fire was coming from a residence before 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29.
Frederick Road was closed between Old Frederick Road and Westchester Avenue while firefighters battled the blaze.

Crews from Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department and the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services also responded, according to the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Company.
The fire was under control by 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, The Baltimore Sun reported.
