Howard County Home's Attic Catches On Fire During Monday's Storms: Official

A Howard County home caught on fire Monday around 5:45 p.m. Assistance was requested from a neighboring county to help battle the blaze.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Monday around 5:45 p.m., Howard County firefighters were called to the 1000 block of Thunderbird Drive in Woodbine for a report of a house fire.

When firefighters arrived at the home, they found a fire burning in the attic. A call for additional resources was sent out and mutual aid was provided by Carroll County.

The fire was brought under control after approximately 1.5 hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
