Howard County Police Offering $2.5K Reward For Information In Man's Attempted Murder
The Howard County Police has offered a $2,500 reward for information in the attempted murder of a man at the Cedar Motel in Jessup.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A man was shot at the Cedar Motel in Jessup Friday around 12:45 p.m. and Howard County Police is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information on the whereabouts of the suspect, Demitri Duhart, who is now wanted for attempted first-degree murder.
Detectives believe that Duhart shot Quantonio Dunscomb, 43, of Annapolis, before taking off. Dunscomb originally was listed in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, which has been upgraded to fair condition. The hotel is located in the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard. Police do not believe the shooting was random, according to the department.
Duhart, 32, stands approximately 5’10, weighs 190 pounds and has dreadlocks. He is known to frequent the Jessup area and Route 1 corridor, but may have left the area, and is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
