Jan. 30 Meeting To Highlight Guilford Stormwater Pond Repair Project

The community can learn more about the Guilford stormwater pond repair project at a Jan. 30 public meeting.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The community has been invited to attend a public meeting Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. to discuss the Guilford stormwater pond repair project.

The project will include the replacement of the pond’s principal spillway located under Guilford Road near 10560 Guilford Road that discharges into Pickett’s Branch near MD 32. The project has been scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023 and be completed in the summer/fall of 2024. The informational meeting will include a brief presentation with exhibit boards.

The meeting will take place in the Hockley Room at Howard County Library System’s Elkridge branch at 6540 Washington Boulevard.

The project is partially funded through the county’s Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund.
