Lane Closure Expected For Project At Whiskey Bottom Road Traffic Circle

Drivers should expect lane closures when crews start working Monday on a project along Whiskey Bottom Road and the traffic circle in Laurel.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A project to construct 200 linear feet of new sewer main near the Whiskey Bottom Road traffic circle in Laurel will begin Monday, weather permitting, and will require lane closures.

The project calls for the installation of a new sewer main with two manholes and a sewer house connection to 9712 Whiskey Bottom Road. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by late August 2023.

Flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic as needed and signs will be posted to alert residents and drivers of the construction, since a single lane closure will occur during construction hours, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
