Learn More About the 2020 Election Ballot, Open Positions In HoCo

The League of Women Voters of Howard County is hosting several events leading up to the 2020 Election.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The League of Women Voters of Howard County are hosting several special events pertaining to the upcoming election. The members advocate on a number of topics covering land use and zoning, social issues and government processes.

Anyone interested in learning more about the candidates running for the board of education and the Circuit Court, join the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum Oct. 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the board of education and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the Circuit Court Judges. The candidates will be asked several questions posed by partners, the Association of Community Services of Howard County, the PTA Council of Howard County and the Horizon Foundation.

On Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be a focus on the Howard County Sheriff's Department with an educational component about voting in the 2020 presidential election to be held in Downtown Old Ellicott City.
