Lisbon Christmas Parade Draws Decorated Tractors, Horses, Pups

The Lisbon Christmas Parade Saturday ushered in the holiday season with festively decorated tractors, horses and pups.

Since 2011, the parade has raised more than $150,000 and collected thousands of pounds of food to feed the local food insecure in area communities.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Farmers from Howard and Carroll counties gathered together Saturday to drive their festively decorated tractors in the Lisbon Christmas Parade, followed by 250 horses decked out for the holidays and adorable canines.

Presented by the Howard County Farm Bureau in partnership with the Carroll County Farm Bureau, the event serves as a food drive to help the Howard County Food Bank, Carroll County Food Sunday, Farmers & Hunters Feeding the Hungry and the Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company.
